Goemon
JSK Laboratory of the University of Tokyo developed and created a four- legged robot equipped with a CCD camera mounted on its head in 1993. The robot was named Goemon.
Goemon’s main characteristic is walking. This Japanese robot can also stand up, bow down, sit, stretch, lean, lift its leg, and perform several other basic movements. This four-legged robot has 3 degrees of freedom on its legs and 2 degrees of freedom on its head.
