One of the latest small humanoid robots developed by Hajime Research Institute, the Hajime Robot 42, was utilized by CIT (Chiba Institute of Technology) Brains at RoboCup.

Hajime Robot 42 has a body frame made of an aluminum plate and carbon-fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). The actuators are RS405CB servo motors Futaba. Like its predecessor, 3-axis gyroscopes and 3-axis accelerometers were implemented. These parts are very useful in the movements performed by this humanoid robot.

In cooperation with its camera-enabled vision system, its sensors enable this Hajime robot to recognize the objects around it. Through this, it accurately avoids the obstacles in its environment.
