In 2003, the Hajime Robot series was pumped up with the addition of Hajime Robot 9. Similar to its predecessors, it was created and designed for RoboCup and Robo-One competitions.

Hajime Robot 9 sports a brighter outer body, with yellow as the dominant color. Some parts are black to create a visual contrast. One of its arms is equipped with a hook that served as its weapon in the robotic tournaments it entered. This humanoid robot walks on two legs and can withstand movements on both even and uneven grounds.
