The scientists and engineers at a small Canadian robotics company, Dr. Robot, created a human-like robot that looks like a hawk and has a long claw, aptly calling it the Hawk. This robot, being designed on an i90 base, was built to protect and entertain its owner. The Hawk is capable of playing drum sets and serving drinks, and does whatever you teach it.

The Hawk robot measures 1.4 meters tall and is equipped with a dual-camera animated head. An indoor GPS and various sensors allow this human-like robot to navigate and give accurate information about the house’s layout. It also allows the robot to avoid any obstacles that lay in its path.

This robot can be operated remotely and can lift up to 1 kg. Dr. Robot aims to make this robot to be cost-effective while providing high performance, especially for industrial, commercial and academic end users.
