Mujaki has created a small humanoid robot which is based on Kondo’s KHR-2HV robot and is capable of serving its owner a cup of coffee. This coffee robot is called the Hina robot.

Hina stands 36 centimeters tall and weighs only 1.1 kilograms. It has 21 Degrees of Freedom (DOF) and its head and joints were further modified in order to make this Japanese robot more human-like.

It has 2 pigtails which are actually an antenna that allows the coffee robot to pick up signals and commands from a remote control. The developer of this Japanese servant robot aims to make this robot revolutionary.

Though it is still unstable, this personal robot can successfully prepare and pour out a “Cup of Joe”.
