The HR 4 is a humanoid robot developed by the Canadian robotics company Dr Robot. It is the 4th android creation of Dr Robot in its effort to build a dynamic walking robot that costs about just as much as a typical personal computer. The robot still has its predecessors' original DURAS architecture, which is the customary platform for all mobile robot designs of the company. It has good balance and can stand and walk straight. It makes use of pincer grips to efficiently pick up and hold objects.

    • High-resolution cameras for clear vision
    • Pincer grip hands that permit the robot to pick and hold objects
    • Integrated with balance sensor for optimum stability
    • Onboard accelerometer for topnotch navigation
    • Force-feedback sensors placed on the lower extremity joints
    • Flat foot designed to add ground stability to the robot
    • Onboard rechargeable battery for longer, action-packed robot operation
