iSHA

  • iSHA, or interactive Systems for Humanoid Agent, was developed by Humanoid Robotics Institute in 1999. It was built to harmonize machine environment and interact with human environment naturally, intuitively, and seamlessly.

    It is equipped with two wheels under its body for safe and robust movement, and has 24 DOF for its upper body, head, and two arms.

    Its eyes are installed with a tiny CCD camera, KANSEI analysis and synthesis, a microphone on its head, and touch sensory devices on the body for binocular vision, auditory and touch sensing capability.
