ITR

Speecy’s Corporation, a Japanese robotic firm, developed the Internet Renaissance Robot or ITR. It is a compact droid robot that can download internet content through wireless LAN. It connects to a dedicated server through Internet and downloads content that it shows to its owner using its voice and movements. As per the company, the ITR is the world’s first humanoid robot that can be integrated into a family.

This humanoid robot utilizes the company’s own language, the Robot Mark-up Language, or RTML, as a procedure. With this protocol, Speecy’s Corporation is planning to make RTML the standard procedure for robotic communications.
