J4

J4 is a prototype robot created by JVC, Japan’s leading audio-visual equipment company.  It weighs 1.7 lbs and stands around 7.8 in tall.  J4 is equipped with 2 CMOS cameras located in the head, is powered by a lithium ion battery and can continuously operate for 90 minutes. 

Its body was built using aluminum frames together with resin cowls and it utilizes 2 different types of servos, similar to other commercial products originally designed by JVC.
