  • KMUTT created a humanoid robot called the Ka-Nok robot. It is designed to be a striker robot and is known for its skill in walking and kicking motions.

This humanoid striker robot is designed to be a fully autonomous football player. With its carbon fibre frame, this robot weighs relatively light at 5.6 kg and stands at 1.1 meters tall. It is also equipped with an accelerometer that tells it if there are any longitudinal and transversal tilts. Its gyros tell the measurement of its angular velocity in three axes of rotation.

With the Kalman filter, the Ka-Nok allows its developers to estimate its angle. Its camera allows it to track the ball, which is considered extremely vital for navigational decision-making software.

    Ka-Nok Features:

    • 12 Ex-106 and 6 RX-28 robotis motors
    • Carbon Fibre tube
    • 9DOF Razor IMU Unit
    • USB Logitech Quickcam C905 Webcam
    • Accelerometer
    • Kalman Filter
    • PICOITX Computer
