In 2003, the Japanese laboratory JSK Laboratories at the University of Tokyo designed and created the KAZ. It is a humanoid robot intended to support training mechatronics and control the software of small humanoid robots.
This robot is part of the KAZ series, which the Japanese robotic firm has been developing since then. This humanoid robot is remote-brained. It can perform basic and routine tasks, and can also operate autonomously.
