Zurich University of the Arts in Switzerland developed the Kompott, a prototype robotic machine. Made for the elderly who have weakened senses, it helps them to stay connected to friends and family by displaying virtual content such as emails with its touchscreen interface. It also has speech synthesis and speech-to-text for elderly people who have difficulty reading and writing.
