Land Walker

  • Japanese robot manufacturer Sakakibara-Kikai Company Ltd. created the world’s first 340cm bipedal exoskeleton that they call the Land Walker robot.

    The Land Walker is their first truly bipedal exoskeleton robot that has attracted a lot of attention for them. This robot stands at 3.40 meters high, has a cockpit and is equipped with two air cannons.

    This robot can move forward on wheels at the end of its feet allowing it to travel at a speed of 1.5km per hour. Its developer claims that, despite the size of the Land Walker, this robot is very easy to operate.
