During the 9th Robo-One Competition held at Tokyo, Japan during March 18-19, 2006, Asurada impressed a lot of robot enthusiasts with his LAYERED-X robot.
This robot has a unique design that makes it capable of configuring and changing itself into great shapes. At first glance, this robot can look like a short tower, but after transforming itself, it can look like a carousel, or like a walking spider. It can also turn itself into a two-legged fighting robot.
Additionally, this biped humanoid fighting robot, whose real name is RAYERD-X, can also convert its arms into a leg when needed and continue fighting.
