Makoto Ishigaki of TMSUK Co. Ltd. has developed a futuristic looking security robot, the Ligurio.  It is blue in color with 7 degrees of freedom on its retractable arms. Its arms are normally kept within the body for easy maneuvring around the designated patrol locations.

The Ligurio is equipped with a very accurate Global Positioning System (GPS), one that has a margin of error of only a few centimeters.  It is battery operated with a continuous operating time of 4 hours before needing a recharge.

Built as a security robot, it can move and pick up possible hazzardous materials, can patrol an assigned perimeter and it can detect intruders through a thin wall using embedded sensors.

    Features:

    • Ability to detect persons from 30 miles away
    • Arms can be extended to pick up and dispose harmful materials
    • Use verbal warning when finds intruders
