  • When it comes to low cost and expendable wheeled-robots, Mesa Robotics definitely lives up to its name with its MARV. This affordable and replaceable vehicle has many options making it an ideal entry-level robot.

    Together with Innova Holdings and Wachovia Bank, Mesa Robotics made these robots available to the Florida’s Sheriff, Police, and Fire Departments. Together with Mesa Robotics’ other unmanned vehicles like ACER and MATILDA, the MARV saw its use in Japan, USA, and Middle East, making this state-of-the art robot applicable for military, government, and even for civilian use.

    Features:

    • Comes in a standard payload interface mount with 10 pounds capacity
    • Equipped with colored and Black & White camera with infrared lights
    • Embedded with deployable stabilizers to detect obstacles and is capable to maneuver stairs
    • Runs on 12 VDC NiMH batteries
    • Reaches 4 miles per hour for 1-2 hours
    • Designed to fit on the back of MATILDA for extended trips and can be detached easily
