  • Crafthouse developed a robot called Melissa that has five human-like fingers. It can impressively fold and open just as a real human hand can. This sophisticated humanoid robot utilizes servomotors and a feedback mechanism system to help it do the task.

Though Melissa looks like a small devilish robot from the movie “Transformers”, it can shake one’s hand and can throw a ball. One setback though is that it cannot make a dirty sign with its middle finger.

This 34cm robot is equipped with a yaw axis and an arm axis making it possible to make almost human-like movements. Because of its shorter leg size, the Melissa robot has a lower center of gravity, making it possible for this humanoid robot to stabilize it walking.

    Melissa Features:

    • 60mm wide hands
    • KRS4000 series servomotors
    • Feedback mechanism system
