Monsieur II-P EM30A is the third generation of Seiko Epson’s world’s smallest robot. It is larger than EM10A, measuring 7.8 cubic centimeters and weighing 12.5 grams. It is equipped with an ultrasonic motor which allows it to travel at a rate of 150 millimeters per second, an order of magnitude faster than EM10A. It is built with wheels on both sides of its body, which are activated by a 0.4 millimeter thick self-developed ultrasonic motor.

As one of the EMRos robots, EM30A has built-in Bluetooth for wireless control. It is also powered by a series of three 1.7 volt zinc-air batteries, weighing 4.3 grams total. EM30A travels at a rate of 70 millimeters per second via Bluetooth control and 150 millimeters per second when controlled manually. Maximum continuous travel time is five hours.
