NEON by Robo Garage
The Neon robot is another humanoid robot designed and created by the Japanese company Robo Garage in 2003. It has a height of 40 cm and weighs about 1.3 kg. It has 19 degrees of freedom, which gives it a lot of flexibility. It was created to limit the inequality between manga robots and real robots, and was featured during the Robodex 2003 when the “astroboy” birth celebration was conducted.
This humanoid robot has a toned color and a round exterior which make it very human looking. It walks with long strides and uses electromagnets in its foot to create the walking motion.
