  • VeraTech Aero has recently launched a Y-shaped robot called the Phantom Sentinel. This impressive boomerang inspired robot is seemingly invisible to one’s eyes when in flight. This UAV can be thrown by hand, launched from an aircraft, or dropped from an airplane.

Once this robot is in flight, it can be controlled remotely to specifically take some photos or videos of unsuspecting targets, especially in hostile territories. VeraTech said that this robot has a minimal cross-section, allowing the Sentinel to slice through even in harsh weather conditions, something that is quite hard for a conventional UAV to do.

The company also said that another feature of this robot is its rotational inertia, which it gets during its flight. It helps the Phantom Sentinel to maintain a high level of stability and to even self-level when hovering.

    Features:

    • Equipped with a 360-degree viewing camera
    • Powered by two propellers that have quiet electric motors
    • Compact and very light for easy packing and launching
    • Equipped with a single rotor blade outside its fuselage
    • Remotely controlled
    • Scalable from 2 feet to 10 feet depending on its flight duration and payload
