PICO
In 2005, only a few whole-body telepresence robots existed. PICO-2 by Fujitsu Robotics and Kyushu University was one of those few. This humanoid consumer robot was originally created from the concept of HOAP-2. Its Japanese creators wanted to match the physical capabilities of the robot with its intelligence.
