Germany based robotic institution Deutsches Forschungszentrum f?r K?nstliche Intelligenz GmbH, or DFKI Bremen for short, created a fast and reliable galloping machine called the Pithekos.
This four-legged German robot is part of the company’s master thesis and serves as an experimental platform for vibrant ways of movement. This dynamic walking is possible because of its lightweight design, high speeds of its joints and the structure of its elastic foot.
Additionally, the Pithekos robot is a remote controlled robot that is capable of taking tight turns on different surfaces and terrains.
