Silverlit Robotics created an electric robot toy called PROGRAM-A-BOT. It looks like an astronaut, and can dance with its owner and even play soccer. This robot looks a little like ASIMO, Honda’s flagship humanoid robot.
The PROGRAM-A-BOT comes in a heavy black and white plastic covering. When two of these robots meet within two feet, they can interact with each other. This robot has awesome sound effects and light patterns in its eyes that light up.
Activating this robot can be done by clapping one’s hands. Pressing the buttons once, twice and thrice will make it move either forward, turn left or go to its right. This robot can follow 36 pre-programmed commands. With its Infra-Red sensors, it can detect any obstacle that may hinder its movement and avoid it.
