  • ALSOK developed a new security robot called the Reborg-Q robot that depends on the teamwork between robots and human security guards. This robot is the upgraded version of the security service provider’s Guardrobo D1 robot.

The Reborg-Q can be programmed to automatically patrol and guard a preset course, or it can be operated remotely by its human user using a joystick. Additionally, it can be equipped with a function that allows it to control elevators and make its rounds from one floor to another.

When it detects something unusual or suspicious, the security robot can alert the computer in the security room by sending a video that the security guards can review before responding to the situation. Apart from guarding an area from threats or burglary, it can also be used to detect water leaks, fires and smoke.

Additionally, when used in a mall, it can help people who have lost their children by flashing a picture and the details of the lost child, or show pictures of children it already located. This robot can also tell time, give an update about the weather, and do some promotional announcements.

    Features:

    • Touch screen monitor
    • Contactless FeliCa card reader
    • Equipped with fire extinguisher
    • Camera and speakers
    • Voice synthesizer
