Being the first in the series of humanoid robot prototypes with a mobile base, REEM-H1 is a humanoid robot with a mobile wheel base that can carry and lift objects. Developed by PAL Robotics, REEM-H1 collects all the experience and knowledge of past years of research, and adds new features that increase its commercial value.
REEM-H1 has a height of 1.65 m and weighs 90 kg. The robot’s upper part consists of a torso that has a touchscreen, a motorized head, and two motorized arms. REEM-H1 can move at 4 km/h with the help of a mobile base with wheels. The robot has a touchscreen LCD and is capable of recognizing people by face recognition and face tracking technology. REEM-H1 makes use of its autonomous navigation system to walk around indoor spaces and uses microphones to detect multilingual speed.
From hotels, trade shows, museums, shopping malls and special events to care centers, hospitals and airports, REEM-H1 is able to work in a wide variety of public spaces.
