  • Students of the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with H&S Robots, created a humanoid robot called Rhoni. It is designed to help take care of people in hospitals or other health institutions.

    This 1.80m tall robot is equipped with a treadmill, which allows it to walk without losing its balance. Its walking feature development is still in progress as it has yet to have legs.

    According to its developers, once this robot’s design is completed, they want it to assist patients get up, help them dress, bring food and guide them from one destination to the next. This will greatly relieve human health providers from strenuous activities.
