  • Type, Locomotion:
  • Humanoid

  • Released:
  • 2010
  • Created as the female counterpart of the Rhoni robot, Rhonietta differs only in some aspects. Just like its humanoid partner, this female robot moves on a rolling platform as it lacks bipedal legs.

Unlike its male version, this robot has artificial eyelashes and its arms look as if it wants to embrace you. Its developer at the Niederrhein University, together with H&S Robots, dressed the Rhonietta robot with blouse collars.

Despite its smaller size (standing at only 175 cm) compared to Rhoni, this robot is more advanced. Its developers made this robot walk more smoothly and to be fully autonomous. A 12-volt car battery powers this robot while a laptop attached to its back manipulates its movement.

    Rhonietta Features:

    • Walk smoother
    • Rolling platform
    • Blouse collars
    • Controlled by a laptop
    • Artificial eyelashes
