  • Short for Programmable Humanoid In Lifelike Operation, RoboPhilo is one of Trossen Robotics’ humanoid robots.

Standing at 13 inches and weighing 1.2 Kg, this humanoid robot has more than 20 individual servos. They manipulate its head, legs, arms and several other joints. Additionally, this humanoid machine is also programmable to do complex and difficult moves.

To make it affordable, researchers at Trossen Robotics created RoboPhilo with a plastic frame and cheaper hobby servos instead of expensive aluminium frames and digital servomotors.

One can also control this programmable humanoid robot’s movements using a computer or using a multi-functioned wireless remote controller.

    RoboPhilo Features:

    • Plastic frame
    • 20 individual servomotors
    • Intuitive Motion Creator Software
    • Programmable
    • IR remote control
