In 2004, WowWee successfully created the Robosapien, the original biomorphic robot. This humanoid robot has both attitude and intelligence, making it one of the smartest human- like robots around. It has been designed to have lifelike qualities like speech in caveman language, and it can even respond to triggers like touch and sound.
The Robosapien is programmed with a multitude of dynamic moves. It is able to perform six different kung-fu action hero moves. It can also perform several other mundane human actions such as farting, dancing, picking up objects, and belching. This robot has 67 pre-programmed functions in all, which can be shown in 4 demonstration modes.
The owner can also customize the movements of the Robosapien. It has 4 programming modes that allow the user to alter its movements.
