Ari 1

Ari 1 is a female robot developed by KITECH together with Solubot. This android was made specifically to study human-robot interaction. This fembot looks like a cartoon character with its traditional Korean attire. Although Ari 1 appears like a pop singer, it has pre-recorded voices instead of voice synthesis software. Ari 1 has some cool features but not enough to stand out from the group of female androids in the world of robotics.

• Recognizes face using its face detection software and cameras placed in each of its eyes
• Responds to voice commands with pre-recorded voices
