  • Arturito, which means “Little Arthur,” reminds you of the little robot R2-D2 in the famous Sci-Fi movie “Star Wars.” Manuel Salinas, creator and developer of this mysterious robot, said that Arturito is capable of locating objects buried up to 160 feet deep. No technical description was given for this robot, though, as his owner is quite secretive.

Nonetheless, among its notable findings since it appeared in 2005 were the buried arsenals of Colonia Dignidad, where rocket launchers were discovered. Arturito also located the body of murdered businessman Jose Yaraszeck and $10 billion worth of eighteenth-century gold ingots, which were pirates' loot then.

Though some scientists consider this wheeled robot to be a hoax, its track record shows otherwise. Salinas brought Arturito to the Universidad Technologico Metropolitano in Chile, and there, the robot located copper deposits buried deeply with 98% accuracy. Arturito eventually caught the attention of investors who want to have this amazing machine.
