  • Cart robot was designed and developed by Toshiba and its subsidiary - Toshibatec. Cart robot was made to assist disabled shoppers in carrying their things.

Although there are a lot of shopping carts in the mall, they don’t have the capability to run on their own straight to your car to place all your purchased things like Cart robot does. With its integrated LRF - or Laser Range Finder - and ultrasonic sensors, Cart robot can detect and evade obstacles effectively while carrying things weighing up to 10 Kilograms.

Toshiba envisions itself to provide more quality service robots that can make one’s life easier to live.

    Features:

    • Laser Range Finder permits detection of obstacles on a wider space
    • Ultrasonic sensors process sound waves and echoes
    • With the help of LRF and other integrated sensors, this Toshiba machine can precisely calculate the velocity of the colliding object
    • Carrying capacity of 10 Kilograms dedicated for personal comfort
