Hadaly 2 robot is a humanoid robot developed by Waseda University. The Hadaly 2 robot is designed for interactive communication with humans. It is able to achieve this through its recognition features for sight, conversation and behavioral gestures.

Equipped with advanced actuators and sensors, Android Hadaly-2 can adequately interact with humans even up to the point of making its own gestures. This android is designed to respond to stimuli the way humans do so conversations with it will make it seem very lifelike. For instance, Hadaly-2 is programmed to follow the direction of the light and react to its intensity. Hadaly-2 developers aspire to create a world where humans and robots coexist peacefully.

    Features:

    • High-resolution cameras designed to provide vision real-time crystal-clear videos
    • Advanced light sensors integrated into each eye that detect as well as measure the level of the light intensity
    • Ultramodern eye actuators that are programmed to react to the intensity of light: closes the eyes when the light is blaringly intense
    • Topnotch eye-and-hand coordination that permits the robot to pick up objects and do handshakes
    • Integrated with voice synthesis and voice recognition features that enable the robot to engage in interesting conversations
    • Built-in microphones are assimilated into the system to work with the onboard sound sensor
    • Force-feedback sensors are integrated into each joint of its fingers
    • Capable of learning from experience
