HanSaRam Series : HanSaRam VII

  • HanSaRam VII is the last robot among the seven bipedal humanoid robots of KAIST’s HanSaRam series. It stands 53 cm tall and weighs 4.5kg, with 27 DOF.

    It was created with five fingers per hand, which are controlled by a single servo by wires. HSR-VII can track a distance of 42.195m in a quick possible time, which won it a 1st place award in the first ever RoboMarathon in 2007.

    In addition, it was awarded in Denmark in 2006 for robotic integration in design, arts, interaction and social understanding.
