Each hand of this assistive robot has five fingers, allowing it to better grasp objects it is handling. As an aid to the elderly, it can perform various entertainment functions to keep an older person busy and motivated. It can play music, play checkers, or dance.

HuiHui can also accompany a patient during a morning tai chi routine in a healthcare facility. It keeps track of its patient through the built-in sensors found in its shoes. It can send a text message to the family of the patient, community, or hospital for rescue purposes.
