    Masaki Takahashi and Hikari Fujii of Muratec, together with students of the Faculty of Science and Technology, created a receptionist robot named KEITA.  The robot was officially exhibited to the public on October 26, 2011 at the Admission Center where it met and greeted the visitors of the building. 

    KEITA can personally introduce himself and can answer questions about the university, admissions and campus locations after the campus tour is finished.  As a receptionist and mobile guide robot, he can also direct visitors to videos about the university, the previous year’s entrance exam papers and to the location of the guidebooks.  KEITA is a very active robot and only returns to its desk when it needs to recharge.
