RoboWatch Technologies developed a robot security guard called the MOSRO Robot. It patrols malls, parking spaces and offices. This robot is equipped with 240 sensors intended to detect smoke, fire, heat, motion and gas.
It can also perform video surveillance on a mobile platform. It can detect any sudden and unusual changes in temperatures; and with its IR sensors, it can detect any movement even in total darkness.
The MOSRO guard robot can warn about potential troublemakers in more than twenty languages. This robot can autonomously operate for 14 hours at a speed of 4km/hr.
Its counterpart, the OFRO robot, helps MOSRO. While the MOSRO Robot focuses more indoors, the OFRO guards the outdoors.
