Japan’s Pioneer & iXs Research built a crab-like robot used as a navigation device that helps drivers visualize their road map through a Global Positioning System (GPS) device.  Navi Robo, as they named it, has eyes that are made up of light emitting devices (LED) that blink to attract the driver’s attention of the remaining distance before it should make a turn.

Navi Robo even has claws that vibrate and point you in the right direction just before a turn should be made. Unlike a visual roadmap, the crab GPS makes it easy for the driver to just look at the claw movement through his peripheral vision and without taking his attention away from the road.

    Features:

    • Beneficial to hearing impaired drivers especially to elders
    • Small in size for easy and perfect positioning
    • Installed with built-in Motion Media Technology
