Nuvo
ZMP Japan has designed a helpful housemate named Nuvo. It is a robot that stands 15 inches tall and has the ability to react, talk, and walk at a speed of three miles per minute. Nuvo is promoted as a home companion serving as a baby monitor and home security device. This robot doesn’t walk into objects and is able stand on its own.
Nuvo is installed with sensors, extending its hand when meeting someone, and will immediately come to you when you call it. Nuvo can play musical sounds, dance, and has the ability to tell the current time. Its camera can take real pictures where you can see it in a photo album type of display.
