P2
P2 is the second prototype humanoid robot in the P-series by Honda. It has built-in wireless technology for data transfer and communication. A computer, motor drives, battery and a wireless radio are also built into its torso.
The P2 stands 182cm tall and weighs 210kg and has 30 degrees of freedom. Its walking speed is 2 km/h, it has a maximum workload of 5 kg/hand and it has a continuous operating time of 15 minutes. It is considered to be the world’s first self-regulating two-legged humanoid walking robot.
The P2 stunned the public when it was first unveiled because of the very human-like movements that it was able to create.
