  • The Institute for Systems and Robotics developed a robot called the Receptionist Robot. They have deployed it in their seventh floor office. It approaches the visitors who go to their office and interacts with them by guiding them to their destination, or just waits for a visitor to approach it for any help.

ISR’s Receptionist Robot is deployed in their lobby and near a power outlet. This robot interacts with the visitor and asks whether he or she needs any help. If the visitor wishes to be guided, the robot willingly obeys. Once they arrive at their destination, the robot points the room to the visitor and then goes back to its original place.
