  • Japanese toy manufacturer Takara Tomy created a robot called the ROBO-Q. It is considered to be the world’s smallest walking robot. It weighs only 12 grams and stands at a mere 1.3 inches or roughly the size of one’s thumb.

Although this bipedal robot is very small, it can walk on its two feet and can be remotely controlled. To make up for its size, this humanoid is equipped with sensors allowing it to avoid any obstacles. With some programming, it can even solve small mazes.

It comes with a remote controller, which doubles up as its charger. This robot can play mini soccer games and even play with other humanoids of its kind. The ROBO-Q bipedal robot is truly packed with technology despite its size.

    ROBO-Q Features:

    • Infrared Sensors
    • Remote controlled
    • Can solve mazes
    • Remote controller/charger
    • Obstacle recognition software
    • Automatic navigation
