  • RYOMA is a humanoid robot that was designed and created by Vstone of Japan in 2010. RYOMA stands for Robot Yell Ohasuta Miracle Action. It was designed to entertain humans and features a large head and full-color LED eyes.

The robot was intended to appear on Ohasuta (The Super Kids Station). This humanoid robot is patterned after VisiON 4g, the winning entry in RoboCup 2007. The only difference is that RYOMA’s head is super-sized, similar to some anime characters in Japan.

It has three degrees of freedom, which allows it to show some cute expressions. The head alone weighs 1 kilogram, but RYOMA still sustains its normal walking gait.
