  • Switzerland’s Macroswiss created a wheeled robot that is a prospect for the United States Armed Forces. The Spybot is one of the robotics company’s wheeled spy robots which is generating interest. This robot is capable of traversing almost any terrain and can carry four times its weight.

Despite its effectiveness as a spy or security robot, it can be carried in a backpack, making it effective for reconnaissance missions. Additionally, this Swiss robot is able to detect, recognize and identify its targets even from a remote location, making it a very useful weapon without endangering human lives.

A camera captures images and audio, and then sends back important information to ground personnel, which could be vital in times of war or any hostile situation. This technology can also be used for rescue missions, especially during peaceful times.

The unattended ground vehicle is also effective for defence, and can deal with Improvised Explosive Devices, mines and bombs, allowing its operator to assess the situation before stepping in. It can also act as a good sentinel, especially in places where human lives could be in peril.

    Spybot Features:

    • All Terrain Flapper Wheels
    • Synthetic Aperture Radar
    • Cameras and microphone
    • Remote Controlled
    • Sensors
