Robovie mR2 is a humanoid robot creation by ATR IRC Lab that was released in 2010. The Lab’s goal was to design both a communication device and a PDA while maintaining a cute aesthetic appeal - the robot sports dog eyes. Robovie mR2 is installed with an iPod Touch on its torso as a user interface. It can gather information and connect through a network using email and other means. Designers added expressions, gazes, and gestures to make using Robovie mR2 fun and entertaining.
