  • Roomba 581 is another vacuum cleaning robot from iRobot. It was launched in 2010 with the same goal as other automated vacuum cleaners released by the company - to assist homeowners in cleaning their homes with much ease.

iRobot, the company behind Roomba 581, prides itself with advanced technologies that are embedded in the vacuum cleaning robot. It utilizes the iAdapt technology enabling it to make intelligent cleaning decisions. It also has the Cliff Detect technology, allowing it to recognize areas where it may fall, such as stairs. Problems with wire tangles are also eliminated with the built-in escape behavior system. This allows the robot to perform its cleaning functions freely, even with the presence of wires on the floor.

The Virtual Wall allows Roomba 581 to be confined to a single room until it is thoroughly cleaned before moving to another room. The onboard scheduling feature allows the user to preset seven cleaning times each week. Its improved filter captures more dust and allergens, and its improved side brush makes it more effective in cleaning edges and corners.

    Features of Roomba 581:

    • Dimensions: 44.45cm x 53.34cm x 12.7cm
    • Weight: 6.58 Kg
    • Returns to self-charging base after tasks
    • Detects dirtier spots and spends more time cleaning them
