The Remote Presence Robotic System, which was integrated into this robot, made it possible for the RP-7 to eliminate time and distance barriers. It can effectively extend the doctor’s reach to administer patient care.
RP-7’s Remote presence device is the first and only device that is FDA cleared. This device enables direct connection to Class II medical devices like electronic stethoscope, otoscopes and ultrasound. Through this technology, these medical devices can be connected to the expansion bay of the RP-7, which then send medical data to the doctor or medical practitioner.
