  • In 2006, WowWee released RS Media, a fully customizable entertainment robot. It can interact with its environment while showcasing the cutting-edge technologies used in its system.

RS Media interacts with humans and objects through its sound, sight, and touch sensors. Interactivity is enhanced by its capacity to respond to speech. The sound sensors allow RS Media to hear and detect sounds and respond to them. Its sight is composed of a color vision system that allows it to recognize colors and skin tones.

RS Media can demonstrate complex moving skills, such as bipedal walking, bending, sitting, standing, lying down, and gripping. It comes with an LCD screen, making it a true and complete multimedia companion. It can be used to play Java games, display photos, and play sounds and movies.

As an enhancement to its movement skills, the RS Media is equipped with Infrared (IR) sensors. This feature allows it to avoid obstacles it detects while it moves.
