Samba is a wheeled robot created by Unitune Concept Limited of China in 2011. Aimed at helping homeowners and other individuals with vacuuming tasks, this robot was engineered to carry a wide variety of surface-cleaning tasks such as automatic vacuum cleaning, sterilizing and mopping.
It features timed cleaning and boasts of a menu that is displayed on an LCD. The cleaning button is actually a touch key allowing the user to change the speed of cleaning to slow or fast. The directions can also be set as spiral, linear or zigzag.
Samba is a worthy vacuum cleaning robot due to its applicability to a wide spectrum of floor materials such as carpet, wood, hard, ceramic and tiled floor surfaces.
