Released in 2011, the Scooba 230 is another floor-washing robot from the impressive lineup of iRobot. It carries the core technologies developed by the company for its automated vacuum cleaners and floor washers.

The Scooba 230 does thorough cleanings of floor surfaces using a three-stage cleaning process of washing, scrubbing, and vacuuming, in order to neutralize up to 97 percent of bacteria. It utilizes an advanced water management system, which permits it to separate clean and dirty water inside the robot.

Due to its sleek size, it can penetrate hard-to-clean surfaces, such as around the toilet or underneath furniture. This floor-washing robot has highly responsive cleaning technology, allowing it to sense and detect areas of the house that need to be cleaned more.
